Bar Basque
Hey Guys!
So last week I had the pleasure of going to this snazzy resto with my mom and big brother, Tom, in celebration of his leaving to spend a year kicking butt and taking names in South Korea! Woot!
This is another tale of a restaurant offering to make something non-alcoholic at the bar out of whatever they’ve got. I think what I received was a mix of fresh orange and grapefruit juices, which was definitely tasty, but just look at that garnish! A raspberry! I strip of cantaloupe! And…a bamboo sword of some kind? And let me say that as tasty as fresh grapefruit and orange juice is, it was made even better when my cantaloupe garnish fell in and added a yummy, melon-y flavor. YUM.
Also, the food at this place is incredible. We sat in this glass room (which was only problematic when the hail started pounding down on us), there was live music and they also gave us a free book on Basque Country!
